Enormous fire damage to the entire warehouse building
Last week, a burning waste container caused a huge fire damage at a horticultural business in the area of Hamburg.
It is assumed that the fire spread from the waste container to the operating and storage areas, almost completely destroying the warehouse. The sales area with crops and other buildings of the company were also destroyed by the fire. The damage is currently estimated at around half a million euros.
The company is a family business with an own sales area. The field service of Gartenbau-Versicherung was on site immediately after the claim was reported in order to support the affected company as quickly as possible and to start settling the claim. Board member Dr. Dietmar Kohlruss also visited the company to hand over an initial advance payment for reconstruction measures and repairs.
