What insurance solutions do HORTISECUR G, HORTISECUR F and HORTISECUR Cyber offer?

HORTISECUR® G, our modular multi-risk insurance policy, was specifically developed for horticultural businesses with greenhouse cultivation, retail nurseries, garden centers and flower stores. HORTISECUR® G protection covers weather-related risks such as hail, storms and snow pressure, but also fire, technical failures and damage caused by mains water or burglary.

With HORTISECUR® F, we offer horticultural businesses with open-field cultivation a comprehensive insurance concept. Open-field multi-risk insurance was designed to respeond to the increase in severe weather-related damage to open-field crops. The higher risk due to the extensive use of technology is also taken into account, as are losses due to fire, lightning and explosions.

With HORTISECUR Cyber, we offer you a protective shield against viruses and cyberattacks. HORTISECUR Cyber is characterized by a modular structure: Protection against damage caused by cyberattacks, first-party damage and ransomware is the basis of this insurance product and is included in every policy. Four optional modules provide additional protection.

In the event of a claim, it is vital to receive immediate assistance from your insurance company and that your claim is processed quickly and unbureaucratically. Your local advisor will carry out an initial damage assessment within 48 hours. Our emergency assistance ensures that you remain solvent and can concentrate on the essentials: Getting your business up and running again.

How can I be sure that I can rely on my advisor?

Our core competency is to identify, assess and mitigate the risks unique to horticulture. In order to achieve this, it is essential to have a highly qualified team with in-depth knowledge of the industry. All our advisors have completed vocational training and/or obtained a degree in horticulture. Together with insurance know-how and many years of experience, the result is unique expert knowledge. Depending on the damage, a specialist may also be consulted during the assessment. A total of 200 gardeners help us to assess damage, working as voluntary and independent experts.
