Luca Schetter is the new risk consultant for the region.
Since January 1, 2025, Luca Schetter is responsible for the South Tyrol region as a risk consultant. He takes over this task from Norbert Schulz, who has prepared his colleague intensively for it. As a long-standing employee of Gartenbau-Versicherung, Luca Schetter has all the skills needed for this responsible position. In the summer of 2024, he was already able to get a first-hand look at the South Tyrolean market together with Norbert Schulz and meet some member companies in person.
Luca Schetter studied horticulture and thus turned his hobby into a career. In 2018, he joined Gartenbau-Versicherung as a working student. He soon moved into a permanent position and took on responsibility in various areas of work – from the claims department to processing and risk management. He is currently part of the sales management department. He is the country representative for Poland, is in charge of cyber insurance and is involved in projects such as the expansion into the Belgian market.
As the new risk consultant for the South Tyrol region, he advises member companies there on their insurance cover, risk management and in the event of a claim. In the latter case, he is supported by a colleague from Venetia, who can be on site more quickly if necessary. “I am looking forward to this new challenge, especially to the contact with our members and the professional exchange with them,” emphasizes Luca Schetter.

We are very pleased that we were able to win him over for this,” says Norbert Schulz, head of the field service department in Germany at Gartenbau-Versicherung. The South Tyrolean members have already been informed of their new point of contact. In February, Luca Schetter will be back on site to get to know more companies.
